  3. OMG, what a great stuffed animal!! Has Sasha had it since he was born!? And it sounds like Aunt Wendy sent him those rainbow stickers!! I especially like the star sticker smack dab in the middle of the gorilla's nose and the round stickers for his/her eyes!! Did Sasha get "rainbowed" too?

  4. That's such a great picture! Did Sasha say what it was he was trying to do? Did he have a running commentary while he was so b-u-s-y? So funny!

  5. I got that chimp from the Madison Zoo when we visited. It's gorgeous and I love it, but generally speaking Sasha couldn't care less about it.

He and his friend Annabelle went crazy one evening after school and were squealing and laughing and running back and forth from the sticker collection to the chimp. I had a small anxiety attack because they were "wasting" page after page of those beautiful rainbow stickers, but then I had to remind myself that they were Sasha's birthday present and he could do as he pleased with them. And are they really wasted if they caused sheer joy times two? And I still smile every time I walk past the chimp. Note to Wendy: if you want to get me rainbow stickers for my 40th birthday, you go right ahead!

  8. I hope the Madison Zoo still has this chimp (gorilla?) in their store, because I have fallen in love with this one--so the next time I'm in the area, definitely will go to the zoo. Does Sasha's/yours have a name?

  9. The chimp/gorilla does not have a real name, just Big Monkey. I'll bet that the zoo still sells it because it's outrageously adorable and super-soft and huggable.
