The candy song has a backstory. A few minutes before this video, he was allowed a piece of candy from Aunt Mollie's Halloween package that he had just opened. After finishing it, we had this conversation:
"More?"
"No. Only one."
"More candy?"
"No. One piece is enough."
"More candy please?"
"No."
"WAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!! CANDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
I suggested that we sing a sad song about how we want more candy but can't have it, and started strumming and singing. Amazingly, this worked to distract him. And to make this video even funnier.
Your posts have been awesome lately! I am so ready to have Sasha and you guys here in person. Maya had a meltdown at our lunch restaurant today about not getting more candy. That stuff is like an evil drug, I tell you.

ReplyDeleteHe's got quite the "finish" to his Candy Song. Waving hands, drawing out the last note, and staring right into the camera. I think he's had acting lessons! Little squirt! I so enjoy seeing him in videos. It puts a smile on my face every time. Thank you Sandy for all the work you do to get these posted.

ReplyDeleteTaylor and I just watched this and we are both laughing and smiling from ear to ear!!! He is so fun to watch!!! Someday we'll be watching the Taylor and Sasha Variety Show on national television and hopefully be living off their millions :)
