You're right, that Darth Vader is the original 1970's model! Mom saved him these many years -- so Sasha could pop the head off within 5 minutes. Or maybe it was already hanging by a thread. But the picture is illustrative of his overall track record with action figures. He loves to break them. Maybe he wants to test their limits to see if they really are superheroically indestructible.
Wow, a toy from your childhood! I didn't know your Mom bought "boy" toys for you. Very cool. Does Sasha get sad once the superheroes are broken? I say, back to the Legos--hide the superheroes for when he's ready to work at the Superhero Prosthetics Company! LOL. (Just remembered--I used to play with plastic soldiers.) hmmmm. I'd have battles and the whole thing.
This picture is hilarious!! Isn't it interesting that we think kids should play "with" their toys and they think they should take them apart! Is it curiousity? Is it testing the limits? No one will ever know! lol Cracks me up though...
